Meet Mati

I practice from a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive lens and base connections on a foundation of empathy and empowerment. I believe in cultivating a warm and compassionate environment where clients can thrive. Healing looks different for everyone, and I truly hope to co-create a safe space where clients feel comfortable enough to venture on that journey with me.

I graduated in 2019 with my Masters in Social Work from Yeshiva University. I hold a Licensed Master of Social Work in Maryland. My experience in the world of mental health is varied and ranges from working with children, those struggling with homelessness, substance use, and hospital social work. I utilize a variety of interventions including Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Directive and Child-Centered Play Therapy.
